Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton touch on several societal issues and urges action against human trafficking

Former Secretary of State urged people at 26th April 2014 United Methodist Women's Assembly to combat social injustices like human trafficking etc.

"I don't think that we can sit back and wait for somebody to solve these problems," said Clinton.

The United Methodist Women's Assembly is held in cities throughout the United States every four years and draws thousands from around the nation.

The United Methodist Church (UMC) is a Methodist-Christian denomination that is both mainline Protestant and Evangelical. Founded in 1968, the people of The United Methodist Church are part of the second largest Protestant denomination in the United States. Our worldwide connection includes approximately 12.5 million members.

As the assembly's keynote speaker, she lauded the church's efforts to fight human trafficking around the world, talked about how she met trafficking victims in Cambodia and Thailand and shared stories.

Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton is a former United States Secretary of State, U.S. Senator, and First Lady of the United States. From 2009 to 2013, she was the 67th Secretary of State, serving under President Barack Obama.

Sociology Experts feel  Clinton’s recommendations would better be implemented with Coordination of Technology and Field teams with provided room to Rehabilitation and smooth transition of the already affected kids and women soon.
